What’s happening at The Bat
Here at The Bat & Ball, we’ve usually got something going on. Whether it’s an annual event like our Charity Beer Festival or a special occasion like The Queen’s Jubilee, we always try and find someway to celebrate, and have a knee’s up… any excuse to have some fun!!!.
Events coming soon…
Every Tuesday night at 8.30pm we have our popular Charity Jackpot General Knowledge Quiz hosted by either Quizmaster-Liz or Quizmaster-Claire. With your team, the aim is to have a fun and sometimes challenging evening with a little bit of banter with the Quizmaster and near by teams over drinks and some great food.
Entry is currently £1 with proceeds going to our in-house charity The Hedgehogs.
Every last Thursday of the month our friend Vic Cracknell runs an Open Mic Night at 8pm. On the second weekend in June we run The Charity Bat and Ball Music Festival ‘Bat-Fest’ with our in-house charity The Hedgehogs. It runs from Friday afternoon to Sunday night with 30 Ales and 12 Ciders and Perries to taste. The very popular gin ‘The Gin Garden’ will return; our very own Gin Festival. There is also a full program of music and it is accompanied throughout by our BBQ serving local produce from Michael Humphries Butchers of Rowledge. It is a must visit event with all the proceeds of the Beer Tent going to The Hedgehogs who raise funds for local Farnham charities and good causes.
