We’re Kit and Rachael - with a deep love for good food, great brews, and genuine community spirit. When we took on The Bat & Ball, it was exactly the kind of pub we wanted to get involved with: one where everyone feels welcome the moment they walk through the door. For us, it’s about warmth, conversation, and a proper sense of belonging.

Being independent means we can pour our passion into every pint and plate, handpicking the best local ales and top-quality ingredients. With three little ones of our own, we also know how valuable it is for parents to enjoy a peaceful pint while the kids play - which is why our playground is such an important part of what we do.

There’s been a lot in the press lately about supporting your local pub, and we couldn’t agree more. Pubs are the beating heart of the community - places to laugh, share stories, and weather life’s ups and downs together. Hosting that spirit here in Farnham is a real privilege, and we intend to do a jolly good job of it.
